This is a famous and highly respected college, marching band in the United States, Florida. The college is what we called historically black, college or university, and the name of the school is Florida architectural and mechanical university, or FAMU. They call the band the Marching 100 and their standards for musicianship and athleticism are among the top in the country. I have four friends that have personally been in that band when they were in college.

Love FAMU...BUT... Florida A & M University which are known as the "Rattlers" (notice the rattlesnake on their uniforms) is located in Jacksonville Florida. The University Of Florida, the "Gators" (whose mascot is the alligator), is located in Gainesville, Florida. Two different schools! How hard is it to get basic facts straight???
