Black doe NOT refer to the cake... it refers to the Forest (Schwartzwald= Black Forest), a region in Germany just south of where I, an Army brat, used to live. This is the cake made by those who live there. Peace, love and bellbottoms from Canada.

These guys are loosing their subscribers. Tribal people try have over six hundred thousand subscribers. Why are they still showing old videos?

@@CaroleWu-py4rs It's because the same format is less believable when you're dealing with citizens of a technologically advanced society with very, very few isolated pockets of traditional tribal people left in it. Pakistan has more of these pockets of isolated tribal people but India has advanced so much in so short a time that nobody really buys this format any more.

I live in the Schwarzwald and you get that cake at every bakery over here. It has a strong alcoholic taste, since the cake layers are sprinkled with cherry Schnaps. It’s not a Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte without it.

This is my favourite cake. Yes, it's true. What @27thangel said is true. It came out of the Black Forest in Germany and isn't American. Only a chef would know that or people that love this cake, like I do. Canadians love it I can see them trying to share with the wives as they are the ones stuck baking it.

I love all the videos featuring these men plus others when there is time for them to come to your studio. Their reactions are very heart-warming. Seeing them enjoying this Black Forest cake makes me happy. Sometime in the future maybe you could show them a video of how to make this cake. I think they would find it very interesting to know that the red portion of the cake is made with cherries. Perhaps you could serve them some fresh cherries at the end. It tastes so much better when you get a slice while in Germany! Which is where the cake originates from. I sometimes visit my family friends who are from there, and i will sometimes get it for desert. The taste is much more magical over there!

Im english Born in Africa but moved from England to Germany 7 years ago, the area I live in is called "the green heart" a UNESCO Biosphere reserve, I'm a big fan of the show. I wish someone (or the government) could show the beauty of this place. Ruby (the daredevil) and Surra would appreciate the culture and dancing and would enjoy the food the most! My choices of area seem a little southern bias, but mountain jodding, traditional clothes,dirndl and laderhosen, shuhplattel and shirt swirling dances and music, Zugspitz (especially for Ruby), Neushwanstien Castle, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Munich, Nymphenburg palace and hofbrau, (pork and beer can be easily substituted) 🇩🇪 I would do it myself but am extremely poor?

This comment section is now german property. Jokes aside. As a german, it is really heartwarming to me if I can see people around the world enjoying things that are from here. I don't necessarily need them to know that those things are german. But to experience for the first time is special. Those are adults and they never have eaten black forrest cake before...so I enjoy how happy their first "encounter" if you will, makes them. the guy in the yellow...he just looked so happy and blessed with every bite. Really heartwarming.

Frank from Germany, I been watching your videos for years and saw a yt video you should definitely show the guys, especially "Sarru" because I know he loves to dance! A young man (Ed people) asks people from all over the world to "teach me your dance" The best one is 1. Best dance moves from around the world 2. Best india dance 🇮🇳

maybe you should tell them, like you made always ad for the wannabe great american food, that the black forest cake origins in germany. and its protected by laws to be prepared in a proper way to be called black forest cake. the black forest is a region in germany

We call it Black Forest Gateaux in the UK. I'm not sure what makes it a Gateaux and not a cake.

While both seem similar, cake is a sweet food made with flour, eggs, sugar, and butter or oil whereas black forest gateau is a light sponge cake with a rich icing or filling.

@@spectralsymphony There are many sponge cakes that are not called gateaux. Myself, I think it's just the French trying to horn in on Germany's territory.
