To keep my gear to a minimal, I sold my 56 and 85mm and bought this. amazing lens. Bokeh for me is 10/10. Awesome video as usual kevin. 🎉

Great Video Kevin, love your work btw! I also own this lens and love to use it with my X-T5. I also got the 27mm f1.2 and that's almost enough for anyone when it comes to portraits in my opinion. Keep up the good work 🙂 Cheers from Germany

Long term admirer of your work, Kevin. First time I comment, I think. LOVE your work, capturing emotions. Often moving, indeed, especially when kids are in the mix. Stunning equestrian shots here 👌🏻 That one, with the horse jumping towards the camera, wow what a spot you found! Hope you didn't risk your neck 😅 Health and happiness.

Hi Kevin I love this lens and use it for shooting street alongside the also excellent 27mm f1.2 Viltrox is certainly delivering the goods at affordable prices. Interestingly I was questioned by one person why I'm shooting wide open when shooting street photography as in his opinion Street should be shot at f5.6 or narrower 🤔 Surely it's up to the individual what they shoot and how 😂

Absolutely it's up to the individual. There are some amazing images in Street Photograph shot from 0.95 to F22. You keep doing what you enjoy. There are no rules.

I had the Viltrox 75 and is a good lens, but I preferred the 90mm because it’s extra reach and better color rendering

Great vid Kevin. It’s good to see another manufacturer able to pull together a solid lens at a lower price. The images look great! Bonkers to see you shooting wide open in sun like that. I have to mention the music tho. I’m not sure you have the right background music. It’s all emotion wedding sounding stuff and I found it quite jarring to hear it when presented sweaty men in Lycra 😂

Yea, I think it would be great for the mid field stuff. If the action gets close to you, you may need another lens on hand.

I have the 85mm 1.8 but was considering changing to this for its weather sealing and aperture ring, plus it’s very competitively priced. However for around the same price I could pick up a very good, albeit used, Fuji 90mm with its extra reach and fast, pin point focus. Right now I’m torn between the two.

Absolutely. If you want the extra reach the 90mm is the best choice for sure.

AFC-C with single spot in the middle. Second from smallest focus box. I used the AF Custom Setting #2 (the one with the Leopard).

i have the viltrox 85 f1.8. but i miss the aperture ring and the aberrations are too heavy. i may replace it just with this viltrox 75mm.
