There was a period of time where on DVDs released by WWE, Jesse Ventura's commentary was muted even though you could hear the other commentator. You can hear Gorilla Monsoon and then a lot of silence on some matches which made it extremely awkward. His commentary was later added back years later. Hogan was a tremendous draw and had long staying value and power being on the top while HBK was given everything to on a silver platter due to his control of the Kliq, forcing superstars to cower to his threats of verbal abuse and contractual firings (Koko B. Ware got fired for simply fighting Shawn despite witnesses saying Shawn did it). Hogan did way more to build the company and keep it in the limelight for so long that anyone has in the history of the business.
