A promo on AEW television from Darby Allin made the audience chant Cody Rhodes' name. Dave Meltzer from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter called the segment 'very Russo'. The former WWE head writer fires back at Meltzer in this segment stating that none of his work made the audience chant for someone from another promotion. EC3 gives his unique perspective on the situation to host Dr. Chris Featherstone in this edition of The Wrestling Outlaws. Has 'Russo' become a synonym for bad television?

What Russo and EC3 said made sense...for 30 years ago, but nowadays, I would argue more AEW fans also watch WWE than the reverse! Some people, like myself, are furious that Tony kept The Young Bucks while letting Cody, C.M. Punk and Jade leave! Darby probably knows this so his promo was right on target!

First off he did everything he could to keep Jade including paying more than what WWE can offer and she still left. Ppl forget that Jade main goal is Hollywood and WWE is the stepping stone for it.

Being associated with the IWC is an embarrassment mostly due to the marks obsession with a fake scripted sport and the journalists like Meltzer and Alvarez covering it just to show their biases and promote a style of wrestling that alienates everyone who is not a goober eater and has enough sense of him to know who is a star and who is a pretend gymnastic with no personality

Bret says that Vince Russo never had any good ideas, but Russo was the one who really pushed Bret in WCW and made him a 2-time world champion as well as the leader of the top stable. Maybe Bret forgets that, or maybe he thinks that wasn't a good idea? Lance Storm is the same, but Russo gave him the biggest push of his whole career.

Least wwe has booking and storylines with beginning, middle, and endings. Aew is strictly just match making from week to week with little or no continuity

@chrissuponcic5181 Sorry WWE fanboy but try again. Have you watched RAW and Smackdown? All of their storylines are terrible and there's only about 3 going on. The rest are just matches. AEW does the same thing except when Christian Cage cuts a promo its catering to adult fans. Enjoy your Nick Jr promos on RAW.

I want to see The Rock betray Roman Reigns and help Cody Rhodes will the Undisputed Universal Championship. Reigns has had the title for TOOOO long and it’s time he is taken down. They can milk The Rock vs. Roman Reigns for quite awhile.
