@@johnfaulkner8862 Personally I'd like to think that it is possible. However, UEFA would never allow it to happen. They only want the "Historic Clubs" like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus and Man U to succeed. That's why they have used Financial Fair Play to try to stop other Clubs from breaking through. That is why they have had Whitchhunt's against teams like City and PSG to try and stop them from destroying the Cartel.

@@grimreaper-qh2zn They implemented FFP to stop money from taking over football. If spending was free, the sport would be corrupted even more. Juventus for instance is limited by FFP, because they can not have their rich owners invest, they have to rely on what they generate. It was also done to prevent stories like Malaga or Leeds, where the clubs invest heavily to reach the European money, then go bust once their owners are tired of footing the bill. Malaga still has a rich arab owner that just doesn't care to spend money anymore. FFP works different in every league, La Liga for instance has more strict implementation than England and UEFA. The main difference between UEFA’s FFP and LaLiga’s ECC is that the LaLiga’s ECC is preemptive in nature i.e. the clubs are given a limit of how much they can spend in the transfer market based on the revenue reported in the previous seasons. In case a club fails to stay within this limit, they are sanctioned/penalized. LaLiga is the only league in the top 5 European leagues with such measures and these measures are much more strictly implemented than UEFA’s FFP.

@@garyanderton No No No. FFP was originated after the Portsmouth incident, where an owner put debt on the club believing they would be successful and he would make money. When they failed he demanded his money back and that bankrupted the club. THAT is what FFP was set up to stop (well done Glaziers). However even if you take your premise, look at which clubs have spent most since say about 2013. City are way down on the list. Look at what Chelsea spent just last year. Where's your FFP now. What is safest a Club with no debts or a Club like Man U with debts (including unpaid transfer money( of nearly £1Billion. FFP now is just the Red Cartel trying to stop other clubs breaking into it. Come on Newcastle, come on Brighton. Juventus (and look at the shambles of how that has been dealt with) have been penalised, not for the owners investing money, but because of illegal transfer dealings.

@@grimreaper-qh2zn City are not way down on the list for spenders. They were 2nd or 3rd for net spend when Forbes released their list, I believe only Barca was close and United topped the list. By comparison Real Madrid was somewhere in 40th, so clearly traditional giants aren't benefitting as much outside of England. Bayern were outspent by Everton. I also mentioned incidents like Malaga, not that they were the reason FFP was implemented. We can also add that the same shady transfer Juve is being penalised for, City is getting away with due to more lenient PL rules as one of the cases is Danilo swap for Cancelo. It should also be noted that City could have spent not a file and Guardiola would still have them playing brilliant football because of who he is, as wallets aren't playing football.

@@collinseffah9247 Not really, only like 7-8 players remain from 2014... And honestly, blame Martinez for still using the same players while benching younger/better players. Today, players such as Onana and Trossard looked much better than the "older" players. They deserve to start.

I still have no idea why Roberto Martinez is still coaching Belgium he has underachieved and he should of been gone after the Euros so Im hoping they replace him after the World Cup they deserve better with the talent they have they were also a but lucky to beat Canada.

Honestly, i thought Lokonga looked very promising at the beginning. But maybe Arsenal is just too big for him at the moment. He needs to gain experience at a lower club or league first. He definitely has the potential to be a good player imo.
