How Kompany has turned Burnley around is staggering. For so long Dyche had them playing truly dreadful football which simply wasn't working towards the end. They'll be a much more positive part of the PL next season.

Both played direct defensive football because didn't have budget or quality of players keep it up in the EPL. All depends on quality of players and budget your wondering under. Eddie Howe played attacking football at Bournemouth in football league and EPL had bigger budget then Newcastle before takeover and had much bigger budget then Dyche at Burnley. We don't keep possession for possession sake - the number is high because a lot of teams sit in against us so we're naturally going to have a lot more of the ball - if given a choice we'd like to advance the ball towards the goal quickly - just not recklessly. In the PL we will be well suited to counter some teams quickly, no issues there.

Kompany hates British players in the Premier league, he is either sending them out on loan or selling them. After 64 years I cannot support a Clarets side that has all foreigners in the team. Pace has broken so many promises as I knew he would after all he is an American. So much to ab end to betting company sponsorship, cheaper replica kits and an to every kit being changed every season. Yes Kompany and his staff, especially Mike Jackson performed miracles last season but he has now got it completely wrong against our money bags nemesis twice now, wrong players, wrong tactics and wrong formation 5 man defence at home against a team from the same division, we'd lost before the kick off and informed the rest of the division. 64 years through thick and thin and it comes down to yanks owning us and putting us into debt, and a foreign manager who just wants foreign players. If I want to watch a foreign players I'll watch a foreign team and support them. A curse on all those that have destroyed my club. Harwood-Bellis, Tella, Palmer and Townsend should all have been signed and Egan-Riley, McNally, Twine, Dodgson, Brownhill and Taylor should have been integral to our Premier league season. All those players will be sold or loaned out before the end of the window, some already have. Like Dyche we have another manager in Kompany who let's success go to their heads. What I saw against city, even with 5 defenders (all foreign) who haven't got a clue how to defend in England's top tier. I don't care what happens now I'll stick to my heroes of the 60s and 70s and occasionally the following decades. Too much money in football, too much cheating on and of the field and women's game which most non league teams would thrash, especially the teams playing in the world Cup, getting far too much coverage for the standard of football being played. The game I love and have loved all my life is being totally ruined and now I don't have a team to support.
