Regardless what he did last season, any manager who’s only won 5 games all season would be sacked no matter what level. A lot of poor signings and no faith in those who brought the team up in the first place. Spent £19 million on a goalkeeper when it should have been spent or money towards buying a striker.

True, but all the clubs that got promoted last season have been relegated, the financial gap between the EPL and championship is huge. But I will not disagree that kompany has underperformed this season
