Kompany really is a great captain, he really acts like a leader. wanting his team to fight for every ball and he is honest when for example it was a bad game etc. while other players are like: oh well it could've been worse but happy to have a point. you can clearly see he is disapointed and want HIS team to perform better next time. He's not just a superb defender, he's realistic and honest about the game etc but isn't to happy with anything less then the highest price xD like they asked him if he would give up some prices to get to the quarter or semi-final in the worldcup. he said i would but only for winning the worldcup xD

Vincent has been amazing in his 4 last international games. And when I say amazing, I really mean fucking unbelievably perfect. Scoring, defending, leading... We're lucky to have him more than any other player, even Hazard or Witsel. He's the best.

Not a City fan but Kompany is possibly the best defender ever, perfect build and pace for his role, good attitude, great captain, and ultra consistent. As an Arsenal fan, i would say RVP just about deserves player of the year cause he almost single handily lifted the club that without him i think the club that would have been many many places down the table, but its an outrage that Kompany wasn't second.
