This is what Shadow should be like in the future of Sonic. He should still be the most serious, yet not outright angsty or stuff like that. Just serious and not taking any of the other characters shit. And in here, he was FULLY on the right. Shadow knew Sonic was gonna destroy all and tried to warn him, Sonic did it anyway and destroyed it all. Shadow wanted to fix Sonic's mistake, but was stopped by the shatter space itself. Shadow was suspicious about Nine, and Nine ended up taking all the shards and potentially doomed them all. Shadow was just overall shown to be the most level headed and rational character in the show, and just overall how he should be

Honestly this is the best version of shadow we've ever had. Just a stoic, dutiful anti-hero who still has enough personality to be a little sassy and occasionally crack a sarcastic joke, it's such a good interpretation of his role. Making him almost the mentor character for Sonic, while also maintaining their rivalry, was such a good move that paid off and created a really entertaining dynamic. I hope they build on that and we get more of it in season 3.

While I had a bad feeling about Shadow at the start of the season, he really grew on me, knowing a lot about the Shatterspace and is much more serious than Sonic is.

Shadow was definitely portrayed better in this series than in Boom series and I love his new voice actor it has the same tone as Jason Griffiths Shadow from Sonic X can’t wait for season 3 of prime all hail Shadow the ultimate life form 👍🖤

In recent depictions of shadow is that hes the edgy version of sonic. Angry, angsty and emo. But they forget why hes like it and all hes been was a product. Im so glad they gave him a reason for the way he is and why hes so mad. Its reasonable, and yes hes still angry and angsty its justified.

This is how Shadow should be done. Not edgy just because its cool. I hope the third movie takes notes from this and makes him a likeable anti-hero

As someone who grew up with Sonic from the 90, this season was like an aftermath of the adventure 2, with their dynamic explore. This is the 1st time both rival hedgehogs working together to save their world without their usual allies. Sonic was really scared of losing him being the last person from the same world. A lot of references from the adventure 2 appeared on screen

Not enough screentime

I hope to see E-123 Omega, Silver, Blaze, Team Chaotix and Cream appear into the show for I can get a positive point of view about this show because, for now, I feel like Sonic Prime is just the Season 3 of Sonic Boom due to too much similar common point to Sonic Boom. By start that the main characters in Boom was Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Sticks and Eggman while Prime characters are same but Sticks have been replaced by Rouge with her own personnality and Big is the one who replace Vector with his own personnality while Eggman get several clones of himself. Plus somes episode about Sonic Boom include the travels into the multiverse like the one in Season 2 where Sonic was send into a dimension where there wasn't any Sonic but there was his friends with another personnality or the last episode of the Season 2 of Sonic Boom where Shadow kidnapp Eggman from the alternate dimension for bring two Eggman in same place for destroy the Sonic world. So I can't really say that I feel any hype or joy about the show since it's just a Sonic Boom Season 3 show but with another producer instead be a new show who add more Sonic characters just like the good old Sonic X show who was amazing with a good story so it's sad that Sonic Prime have waste his potential when he could have been as same level like Sonic X and become the best Sonic show but end up to be a Sonic Boom-like show feeling. However, it's cool to see Shadow appear but, come on, we still need the Team Chaotix with Vector, Espio and Charmy, E-123 Omega, Silver and Blaze to appear into the show. The Sonic serie can't be just focus with only Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy everytime just like Frontier, Superstars, Origins and Mania while others characters missing for somes years right? Now I think about it... It's been a while I didn't see Jet the Hawk with his team or Cream appear into a new Sonic game on console with cutscenes and story mode.

Please make more of this for the other characters it’s so funny😭
