First year subscriber here to VS but I’ve been delving WAY back through their catalog in an attempt to get everything they’ve ever released. Up to about 450 of their titles in my collection I think. I’m excited for their future that is for sure! Didn’t know you were a VS sub like me…🙌🏼 even more in common now 😉

I haven't subscribed as there are only certain ones that I would like to own. I have the following so far; Tiger Claws Trilogy, Miami Connection 4k, Beats, Dead Heat, RoadHouse, Surf 2, and Southern Comfort. I want to get the D.A.R.Y.L boxset and a couple of the Cynthia Rothrock titles that haven't had a release within the UK, and The Dog Who Stopped The War as this was part of my childhood when I lived over in Canada for 3 years. Nice video. I have subscribed to your channel! 🙌

But for me, even the schlocky low budget stuff entertains me. I never used to enjoy that type of stuff but I’ve grown to have a soft place in my heart for it. Hey Ken, good to have you back with yet another great review of these VS releases. I didn't know about any of these titles, so pretty curious now to check them out. I'm particularly interested into rare, underrated forgotten titles, so thank you for the unboxing and overview on these. Their artwork and packaging is just incredible. Just curious what's their subscription policy, do you need to buy in bulks every month or can you order only the selected titles you want to buy. Watching your vids like these makes me feel, I've been so far only swimming in a pond while the ocean of great movies is yet to be explored.

Thanks again Sas for chiming in. So much about VS is just that - exploring more obscure films or even “B” movies. And I love that I get to appreciate more films that I otherwise normally wouldn’t experience. But now they are starting to get into putting out some more mainstream stuff, but still films that were underrated and under appreciated in the mainstream. Their subscription package is available in January each year for the entire year and you get their monthly packages which minimally includes 3 releases. Sometimes however they will include big box set like the “Lost Picture Show” which was 10 films in one beautiful box set. Sometimes come May, they offer a half year subscription to try them out. But you don’t get to choose your options. You sign up and get what you get. Any of their “special lines” such as VSA’s / VSU’s / VSP’s / VSL’s have to be purchased separately but you get everything discounted when you’re a subscriber. Personally - I love them!

Amazing. Will check more about VS subscription. So called 'B' rated movies can be A rated for niche viewers. Btw, I happened to find Goodbye Uncle Tom on yt. It's unbelievable how they created this movie with so many people to act in coherence. The acting looked so real, can't imagine how they managed to hold the story together. Ironically, the comments section seemed more tolerant to this controversial film. Lastly, this time, there was lots of autofocus issue with your cam. The autofocus looks bit lazy to focus on the movements you are making or showing the slip covers. The audio loudness could be improved. That's all my friend. Appreciate your taking time to read and respond to my comments. Cheers.

@@Sas-wk9lj- thanks as always Sas for the feedback. You know I really do appreciate it. I realized after once again that my mic had accidentally gotten bumped and the compression bumped up AGAIN. I’m going to have to tape the nob in place or something. I have another vid releasing tomorrow evening my time that may sound the same as it’s already been recorded. The camera - IDK…it’s a great camera but it’s set for “human eye focus” so it constantly jumps and looks for that and if not, it’s going to keep trying and going in and out. Not putting that setting on just seems to cause more issues as then it doesn’t know what to focus on. So I don’t know if that is going to get a whole lot better but I’ll keep seeing what I can do to dial it in. All in all - I’m getting my content more dialed in through your feedback so - Thank you! As for Goodbye Uncle Tom…I get why it was made at its time to SHOCK people but I truly had a hard time making it through that one. I just can’t explain the ignorance of slavery let alone the dehumanizing impact that it caused. But it was a part of our history here in the U.S. so the film has its place in history to show how awful it all was. But I can honestly say I’ll never be watching that one again. Once and done for me 😉 Hope all is well my friend! Happy to suggest some VS releases for you should you get into them as well…

Thanks Ken, much appreciate your feedback. My only purpose to keep telling you about your video quality is because 1) I like you as good natured, humble person, who is sincere and passionate about his hobby. Your interests in A/V syatems, Bluray collection matches with mine. Kind of developed affinity with your character, lol. 2) you have got so much potential to become one of the top reviewers in yt. Believe me the kind of depth of knowledge and expression you have, with your movie watching experience and the art of articulating 'what it's all about' on movies, & unboxing (that you do so much with care), plus your presence and personality, deep voice (baritone), your channel deserves to get more visibility. You're funny, witty and your reviews are enjoyable from start to finish. Besides, you lack snobbery. Believe me, I've been following many reviewers of technology gadgets on yt or vinyls or turntables and they're quite boring, standoffish with hidden sales agenda, marketing or sales oriented yet they have large no. of subscription and viewership just coz their audio/video are professional grade and probably there's marketing team that spends in their channel promotion. I hope you get some cameraperson friend of yours to adjust your camera settings to increase the depth of field ( extend focal range with smaller aperture) so that you wouldn't need autofocus feature with your cam lens moving in and out every time you moved 😊

Much appreciate your feedback Ken. I hope your video quality gets better with time. May be you can find someone who's a camera person to dial it up for you. Since you're recording in low light condition, having autofocus may be using larger aperture with the intent to get more light through the lens. Large aperture has smaller depth of field (focal range) than small aperture (larger focal range). If you can set it up as manual mode, setting the aperture, ISO etc. manually, may be that will do the trick to optimize so that from your seating position to the distance of your mic is constantly in focus. Looking forward to watching your next video. 🤟
