So, I suddenly had an idea when Vinny said, "I shouldn't have broken his jar" in regards to the ghost pot thing. If someone ever makes a Vinesauce mod for Spelunky 2, reskin the ghost to be Mr. Dink and the ghost jar to be a grill.

@@Jupiter__001_ Mr. Dink and Douglas are from the cartoon Doug, and at some point, IIRC, Vinny started doing Mr. Dink impressions based off of the scene where Doug breaks his grill.

Also, the mod should have Megalovania (specifically the smwcentral's cover of the song) play after breaking the jar or spending too much time in a level, as a call-back to the encounter with Mr. Dink in Mario's Mystery Meat.

One thing I like in the game is that the song doesn’t restart after quick-restarting or going into the next stage. It means that we don’t have to hear the beginning of the song every time, and I feel like that’s a very underrated part of the game.

I am so glad to hear vinny going through the "I took melatonin and kept having weird dreams and couldn't return to the same dream and slept like shit" Because that happens to me constantly.

That sounds to me like the amount you took was definitely too high. The general amount I see for how much to take is usually somewhere around 0.1mg or so, and as someone with terrible sleep disorders and insomnia, that low amount helps me a ton. Taking the full amount of a pill, even if it's just 1mg, tends to make me suffer, or just not have any effect on good nights. I'll never understand why companies producing it always put so much in their pills, it's generally not at all conducive to restful sleep.

@@pravda9646 Like I said, 10mg is usually way too much for people. Try splitting the pill into quarters next time, or even smaller than that, and you might (hopefully!) see better results.

@@ashendeer that's impossible though. I took 0.5 then 1mg at one point and it was useless. If higher doses have paradoxical effects it wouldn't make sense. If it's true I'm more inclined to believe melatonin is placebo

@@pravda9646 It kind of makes sense though. You can overdose on a lot of different substances which can lead to negative effects. I still totally understand your doubt, I know people who it just doesn't work on. I personally can't see it as a placebo though, considering it's practically the only thing that helps me sleep, and I'm fairly skeptical about it myself. It's a hormone, it makes total sense that your brain is expecting specific dosages of it.

Do we mean spoilers for the video/Vinny's personal playthrough or for the game in general? I remember when Vinny beat the final boss of Hades, John just put the "[XXX] Defeated" screen as the thumbnail, spoiling the final boss. Of course, by that point I already knew what the final boss was, because I'd watched the parts leading up to it, but for anyone who didn't know…
