Vinny's habit of rushing through games in an effort to be the most popular streamer on Twitch for the past 5+ years has left him with a stupid habit of only giving 15-20% of attention to any game and it makes for an awful stream experience. It feels like you're watching a MKULTRA experiment or your grandpa battle dementia.

it was pretty much spot on with the chinese commercial voice intonation too, and plus she did actually say 澱粉可樂 (starch cola) so now im wondering if they did hit up a professional ad person to read it out its quite a pleasant surprise since most game devs wouldn't give a care enough to do half of that

@@kiddkd7242 to quote the dev themselves "It was a design decision because originally killing people in the world yourself could really mess with the proc gen and cases but it also something that doesn't really fit with the goal of the game which is solving cases " I do feel like it goes against the Isim aspect-but outside of murica, PI's generally cannot carry firearms. For additional context I'm fairly sure the devs are Brits.

IT'S SO FUN AND HAS A LOT OF POTENTIAL. Game needs more content at the end of the day. But this is a great game to watch Vinny stumble his way through.

Quite the coincidence, if not. 1:03:20 - oh neat it's the address from earlier! 1:38:43 - so you see "Type B" again, and if that was Juan's, it would say her name instead of just Type B. Maybe it's the other person who lives with her? 1:47:06 - for future reference, you can click "Select" and select their thingy on the board of notes, so you don't have to worry about spelling. 1:50:40 - WOOO! Best detective ever! :D Really glad you played this, it's a fun one to watch.

People that played Carmen Sandiego as kids or those point and click detective games, or even fans of tv shows like forensic files or 1970's detective shows like cannon or the streets of san francisco would love this game to death.

CCTV actually existed since the mid 1960's but it was very niche, extremely expensive, and very few places used it. By this game's time period in 1979 it would have been slightly more widespread but not by much.
