Let's fire up this vintage amateur radio station and see who is on 40 meters.
We have some active AMers in Southern / Northern California and Arizona
and 40 meters will open in the night hours for more distant conversation.
Have a listen.
Here we also have a QSO / Conversation on AM on 7290 with some of the famous AMers
in the region.

Wow a Marauder HX-10. As a service technician in the Heath Service Depertment I worked on many of this great xmtr. The harders part was getting all of the screws out of the front panel, back panel and bottom plate. You have a beautiful HX-10. I believe it had a pair of 6146 finals. We would work the mechanical tuning dial so it would spin nice and smooth.

The assy manual had an error on the shaft collar placement. Collar was in the middle for?? Had to be rearward. Unit is fir sale $299 on eBay
