These are the best pots you will ever own! However, trying to keep them looking nice is a different matter.
With regular use, I always use soap and water, but occasionally in the past when I feel like they need a deep cleaning, I have tried various methods. I have used Bars Keepers. I have tried baking soda and vinegar. I have even tried Awesome, just to name a few, but nothing has worked as well as this.
However if any of you have any better suggestions, then please share it with those of us who still cook in these vintage Club cast aluminum pans/ pots.
These are the best pots I have ever owned. And I am sure I have a few viewers that feel the same way. In fact I know I do.
Club Cast Aluminum was first manufactured in 1903 by the Club Aluminum Company and my Grandma always used Club cast aluminum pots. My Momma did as well.
They are easy to clean, versatile to use for baking, boiling, frying and best of all the cast aluminum cookware does not leach toxins and chemical into your food!!! However, they are no longer on the market, unless you can find this cookware second hand.
🤣 You can tell I like these pots!
And on another note...do any of you have big plans for this Easter weekend? It is little Miss Sunshine's Birthday today, so we have a special birthday party to attend this weekend. ❤️
One last thought before I go. Today is also Good Friday, which commemorates the cruel death of our Lord and Savior on the cross. To read about it in the bible brings tears to my eyes. And if you have never watched Passion of the Christ, I highly recommend watching it. ( I like to keep in mind that this movie is a man made movie, so I recommend reading the accounts of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John in the bible first to find the truth in detail of his crucifixion.)
However, It is still a great movie, and worth watching as a reminder to us all. He paid the ultimate price for you and me. There is no greater sacrifice...There is no greater gift...There is no greater service...There is no greater love than the love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is the definition of Love!
Have a nice evening everyone!
❤️Deb
