Жыл бұрынToday I have an exciting vintage Dooney and Bourke unboxing! This was one of my lucky goodwill finds, and I think this is going to be a rare bag unboxing for the books! I’ve recently become obsessed with collecting vintage Dooney & Bourke, and when the opportunity to buy this from ShopGoodwill came up, I jumped at the chance. Not to spoil this Dooney and Burke Unboxing, but this rare bag is from the late 90’s and still brand new WITH tags still attached! I can’t believe I got so lucky! Take a moment and enjoy my new-to-me vintage Dooney and Bourke Unboxing!
This year I'd love to add more pieces from Hermès like the Birkin size 40, Constance, 24/24 and Bolide. Maybe I'll be bad and get an Hermès Kelly 40! I also recently fell in love with the Chanel Jumbo- so that's kind of a must-have for my collection, along with a Chanel Mini Rectangle and a Chanel Reissue. Aside from those, I'd love to add a few more Fendi Peekaboo bags to my collection along with a Fendi Baguette. Make sure you subscribe to see what I buy this year!

I'm obsessed with vintage D&B. I just purchased NWT from 2008 the *Hayden clutch* by Hayden Panettiere & D&B. It's beautiful❤ it's black Italian leather, with a beautiful big gold lion medallion..

Back in the 90s I dearly wanted a Dooney so bad but wasn’t willing to pay that much for a bag, nor did I have the money but I WANTED one! Now watching you go thru your Dooney journey seems to be triggering me. THANKS caleb! 😊

So exciting! I only have one vintage Dooney (well three if you count Y2K Dooney It bags). I have lots of contemporary Dooneys. It is amazing that many of their bags can be had on sale for less than $300 and the quality is amazing for the price. Enjoy your sweet find!

Thank you so much, 5ft! Dooney and Bourke is a smaller brand equivalent to Coach. Unfortunately, in recent years, they haven't seen the amount of success that Coach has recently, but Dooney was everything in the 80's and 90's. Very classic, preppy, American designs. I could go on and on about how amazing these vintage Dooneys are- I love the brand. haha! I just filmed the collection video tonight- and it's gonna be good!

I finally watched this video! (Catching up on all of this week’s videos just now that I am subscribed to.) … and I must say, even though I saw the new bag on the Live last night - it was great to see it up close and the story you shared about it. I love that it has the original package slip and registration card in it too. What a beautiful bag and a great addition to the family. AWL has some great styles, but I tend to be more partial to the styles of the Pebble Grain leather collection, as AWL bags (at least the ones I’ve seen) tend to look too chunky - whether it be the silhouette or the handles/straps/buckles, etc. I am looking forward to the Coach / Dooney collection video on Sunday! Hey Ampersand! I'm doing the same tonight and catching up on videos- it was such a busy week! OMG, I'm still too excited about this bag, I'm chomping at the bit to switch into it, but I really want to wait until after winter is over so I can wear it without a coat lol- I'm weird like that. I totally understand what you mean about the chunky look- some of the AWL styles haven't aged very well lol. I can't wait to share the Coach/Dooney video! Caleb, this is amazing. An incredible find for sure! I just started my “Dooney Journey” and they are all new bags. You know I love all bags, no bag left behind! I remember these bags when they were new. I have always said that Dooney and Coach were priced not far under LV, and you proved it. My Speedy 25 was $365 in 2002. This Dooney was $270 in the same time frame.

And now D & B is still around $300 and LV is 6x more. Unfortunately , since they moved the production to China the quality went down the drain. No major retail stores sell D & B these days. Only QVC does....

And at one point in the late 2000's some Coach bags cost even more than "entry level" LV at the time. Crazy! If you have the chance, grab some vintage Dooney, you won't be disappointed. And I love "no bag left behind" haha!

I don’t think people who recently started buying luxury bags realize that there wasn’t much of a distinction between luxury and contemporary at one time. Yes, you’re right about Coach! I think Dooney is having a resurgence and I for one am here for it! ❤️

I just went looking for videos because I bought a lot from goodwillfinds of Dooney and bourke and I thought they were fake . I got 6 for $15. My mom told me that no, they are vintage. So here I am watching to see if we got any similar

@@CalebSnell I found the Trooper in black with tan. Then I got another one in tan with tan and I got a Palomino in green with tan trim. I used to go back and forth between Coach and Dooney & Bourke, then Gucci and Louis Vuitton.

Wow, you’re passionate about your bags. I am too. I love handbags. Did you say your husband‘s name was Zane? I have a white ragdoll with blue eyes and his name is Zane from the author Zane Grey. When I hold him, he is so soothing and relaxing as ragdoll’s are that my BBF said I should name him Zane X because that’s as close as I can get to taking Xanax. LOL.

I agree, I absolutely love the 80's and 90's bags- the quality now depends on the line, but the AWL bags are supreme!
