Was a pleasure to meet you that day. Genuinely nice bloke. The lion's head is from the river bank. There's more of them embedded in the concrete upstream. I'll send you a picture next time I see them.

I have an idea on the lenses . Make garden flowers using copper tubing as the stems and wind it up at the top for the underside of the flower. 😎don't forget the sunscreen 👍

Good idea, may do this. I dis have sun screen on unfortunately but I'm so fair it doesn't have to be too hot for me to get burnt lol.

Lovely finds guys, the coal scuttle isnt one, its a narrowboat chimney,the handle is to lift it off for getting under low bridges, if you fancy having some canal roses on it let me know

Not a 100 percent sure but have a look at I think there called a duck punt gun. I seem to remember they had extra long barrels and may also be muzzle loaders. Great day by the looks👍🏻

What do you guys do with all the road lanterns you find. Just curious because everyone finds so many.

The red glass gets pulled out of then to keep and the lanterns go on the scrap. Once they dry out they fall to pieces. Yes to find a nice strong one to keep
