This is awesome! Your other vintage stuff plus Cooper Goalie inspired me to get my own set of Reactor 5 gear and combo! Just had a skate tonight with the old stuff - it ain't easy when you've been playing in the modern gear with a modern style!

@@BonesyTV Given the modern styles of the current methods used today, it would be hard to scale back to the standup/acrobatic styles of days gone by so don't worry to much as you pulled it off nicely. Very much enjoy your content (as a former Rent-A-Goalie *retired* myself). I love to follow the EBUGs!

Not sure why people think “vintage” goalies only stood up, they did whatever to stop pucks. Butterfly was one of many things used, it just eventually became an entire style of its own.

I really like your channel bud. I played goal as a kid but it was back when stand up/floppy Hasek was still a thing. I tried playing goal again as an adult, can’t do it man I never developed my hips, can’t butterfly for shit. Like if I even attempted to develop my hips at age 36 I’d either tear something or it would take me way too long to get there. So now I play D and get in front of pucks that way lol. Seriously, my butterfly is so narrow it’s almost a reverse butterfly 😂
