Those Kimbers will shoot. Back when Kimber was seeking the gov. contract the requirement was ½" group at 50 yards. Kimber won and during production some that exceeded the ½" requirement were sold to the public as Kimber Stars. There was a figure of a star by the s/n number. I had one I bought back in the day and it was the most accurate rifle I ever owned. A close friend talked me into selling it to him. Keep an eye open for one of those and you will have a rifle that will compete with anything.

I have an 82G, and it has a few mods, over the years, yes the XTSP trigger made all the difference along with a new stock with a cheek riser along a sightron 36x scope for my old eyes, it still keeps up with the new kids on the block one shot at a time, and at a third of the price ...............................Thanks for sharing

Dang Elijah! Thought you had this at first. Super nice shooting for sure! I've done the wearing the peepers also 😂😂 have to have em to see my scope adjustments, then forget to take em off 😮😅 I'm going to try this again today for the 20th time 😮 👀 I could have swore I saw that little leprechaun smacking your pills away down there at the last part of this 😂😢😊 Thanks for sharing 🎉

Yep, the extra concentration on that small one and them readers don't play well together.

Great video. I love how you keep it so real. I'll agree with some of the other guys. I think the wind was moving the target a little. I watched your other new Kimber 82G video yesterday, and you mentioned using your safety glasses instead of your readers. Like you learned your lesson. I'm assuming you shot this video before you did that one. Great videos though buddy!!! Thanks for doing what you do, and bringing the shooting community together like a big band of brothers..

I would say some of it was due to the target moving around. The last clover zoomed in as it was showed the target move 1/4-1/2". I'm sure nothing is wrong with the setup. And yeah the readers may have caused a bit of parallax shift. I often wonder about shooting without my glasses! ❤❤❤

First thing to do on a wandering point of impact is check all scope and rifle takedown screws, then change scope, lastly borescope the barrel. That's what I'd do. If it's the wrong eye glasses prob, that's even easier. It was still great shooting, your videos never disappoint and you're very honest to show us the good, bad, and ugly range days.

Yes sir I truly think it was the glasses. I am not sure what was going on and not sure why I did not see the cross hairs jumping around before getting to the end. I feel like that was absolutely it.

Imagine what you would've done with the right glasses then. I really thought you were going to clean that that target and then OMG the disappointment. You're going to drive me to taking some happy pills.@@Dayattherange

I just posted two videos couple days ago and I had some wicked wind and a pretty poor score. But I had a lot of fun shooting it and that's the important part. I wish I could have a indoor range or a range that didn't have regular wind. And I also need to invest in video through the scope, because what those bullets did in front of my eyes because of that wind was just incredible you could see them go left right up down it was crazy the wind has such a huge effect. ❤❤❤

Man an indoor range for these challenges especially this one would have been awesome. Though sometimes I feel like it would be cheating LOL.

@@Dayattherange I was thinking the same thing about having an indoor range. However, shooting in the wind separates the wheat from the chaff. My girlfriend shot this challenge last Saturday, and the wind was howling. I was pretty proud of her score, and the fact that she really wanted to shoot this one. She was disappointed in her score, but I told her she did very well, and had her watch some of the other videos that guys posted, when they were shooting in heavy winds. A big thanks to those guys that posted those videos too!!!

I think you had a little more wind at the target. Those dots are so small that it doesn't take much movement at the paper to put you outside the circle. Good shooting!

I picked up a drumming throne to sit on a t the range. Having broke both hips, I have had problems with sitting on chairs, especially wood range chairs. It has been a huge help and I have you to thank for that tip. I’ve tried the St. Paddy’s challenge a few times and it has to be one of the most frustratingly fun challenges I’ve undertaken in a long while!

Loose scope or hot barrel, or too much of a chamber ring? I feel your pain. What’s going on here?

I double checked everything was tight from a scope perspective. I put the bore scope down it very little carbon ring simply because I scrub them before I put them back in the safe after each shooting, just the chamber not the barrel. In this case I did pull 4 wet patches and two dry patches thru before firing.

You probably got a bad batch of Tenex. It is out there. I got a bad brick of it and it wouldn't shoot in my Bergara (that Rectified put together for me), my Vudoo, or my Anschutz Model 64. Couldn't get rid of that crap fast enough!
