John Gardner is a well-regarded fiction writer here in the U.S. He wrote primarily for The New Yorker. Most, if not all, of his fiction is collected in two volumes of The Library of America, which are in my own library. The short stories are the most treasured.

Love seeing these, very cool. I haven't seen many of the ones in your collection in Australia, I'm sure my Millstone by M Drabble is a different cover. Thanks for sharing.

Your Drabble might be a later printing or one published with a different jacket in Australia. Glad you enjoyed the video 🙂👍

@@JulesBurt I had to check, yep, my Drabble is a 1982 GB printing and the cover Illustration was done by Alan Alder. As you say a later edition.
