Not too sure of the age of this clock, but I am thinking around 1923. The older Rail Road clocks have a heavier weight for their clock. This was sold by Sears, but made in Germany for Sears. I found this movement very clean and just oiled the movement. The clock box was damaged and I did use some Black walnut wood to repair it. I am not sure that the wood on this box was Black Walnut. Hope you enjoyed the video. God Bless.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challange of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
