Thank you. How do you remove the machine out of the case? I see the area on th right some of the bed, however I have no idea how to remove it. I would appreciate any advise please.

Hello, thanks for your video on the singer 327k. I was given one of these. And I have no clue how to use it. Least of all how to thread the cotton, bobbin etc etc. I am a visual learner. Do you have a vid on how to do that? If not no worries, I will keep searching. Thank you very much.

Dear sewer I see the machine isn't quite threaded correctly. Isn't the thread supposed to go through the slot on the right side of the square thing just above the needle itself?

I have this Singer and can not seem to find a bobbin that fits it properly. I only have one that I have to keep rethreading! Any tips?

Hil an It depends on what model Singer you have. Most take a class 66 or a class 15 bobbin. The exceptions are the 221 featherweight and the 301 vintage ones which tie a special bobbin just called a featherweight bobbin. What model number to you have?

Thank you for the nice review; I enjoyed it. Nicely done. At 1:54 you mentioned "direct drive" and I'm wondering what you meant by that. No matter, I think I'll find myself one of these. It looks like fun!

Andy Tube Thank you! I think this is a nice simple machine. By direct drive I was meaning that there is no belt underneath the bed but a metal metal rod. I’m still learning all the correct terminology for these. 😉

@@SimplyThirdStreet OK, got it. I was not sure if you meant a direct drive motor or the hook had no belt/pulley system. Thanks for clarifying. I downloaded the parts diagram here >> parts.singerco.com/CPpartCharts/3_39999/327K.pdf and did not see pulleys for a belt, but what looks like a Bell Crank Type Oscillating Hook System. I will find one of these to restore. It looks interesting and reminds me of the 337/338. Thanks again for the nice intro. Take Care.

Definitely belt drive internally , you just need to remove the end plate under the balance wheel to see the belt and pulley system.
