If these weren't such a gamble to buy online I would probably get one. Those vintage 60s Kays are super appealing but some of them probably play like a woodshop project.

The Kay are super expensive compared to this ones

A very good friend has the same Teisco which he bought in maybe 1973 for around $20. That's what those type of guitars were going for in those days. It's been in a corner of a room in his house covered in dust and cobwebs for years. I've been asking him to let me clean and restore and set it up for years also. He's not interested. It's so frustrating!

You make them all sound fantastic! The wonky set ups typically common on these types of guitars (along with the open tunings) would even allow lefties (like me) to play!

You literally can't go wrong getting one of these low-fi gems!. Slide in an open tuning is the way to go, I mean just listen to the tone of that little parlour with the sound good pick-up ffs!. Amazing tone.

Olá, a Famos foi fabricada pela Egmond, diferente da Framus, alemã ocidental. temos o Rui Veloso como amigos próximos. Tenho uma pequena coleção de vintage europeias. Levin, Egmonds (7), Framus, Hofner, etc... :) Abraço e parabéns pelos videos que acompanho.

No such thing as a "crappy guitar" only crappy set-ups!.
