Just to say that I won't be replying to comments with what I consider to be the "best" sounding of these 3 guitars. This is very much about what you think. I will say that I have used all 3 at a full volume rehearsal and all sounded great in battle conditions. I'd be happy to use any of them at a gig.

They’ve each got their own thing going on. I like them all. I’d be perfectly happy owning a Vintage guitar.

What I take away from this is just how good the vintage sounds, particularly the neck. Hard for me to tell which was better between the Greco and Gibson.

My son and I have 2 Greco's, my son has a 1979 Greco RG 750 Standard with U1000 stock pick ups and then we share an 80's Greco SG Standard loaded with Geppetto Camelot PAF. One was $700 & $800 and after playing those we don't find a need for a Gibson and it actually kind of killed the vibe of buying a budget guitar for a very long while I recently I've been coming back and looking at budget Gibson style guitars and I'm really liking the Vintage

Interesting! I used my headphones for this. All three sounded fine individually but in comparison the V100 lost out in all pickup positions. It sounded, "rougher" to my ears. Far less difference between Greco and Gibson but the Greco seemed to have more mid-range, "fluteyness" which I really liked. Overall, I'd say the best one would be the one you have most fun playing and that the tonal differences aren't that important.

I listened carefully and decided what sound my ears gravitated too the most I had a good set of studio headphone on and closed my eyes, Vintage V100 just found it smoother close second Gibson , third was the Greco, terrific comparison

On my present budget it would be the Vintage all the way! Impressive guitar for the price. Close between the Greco and Gibson. Greco is a better deal I’d say.

The V100 is a wonderful guitar...

All very much within the ballpark of each other, the Gibson I thought had just that little extra top end that cut through, other than that youd be hard pressed faulting any of them.

I have a real thing for cheap guitars that play well. As a broke and broken ol war dog who suffers from seizures and falls I break everything eventually. So cheap and cheerful for me everytime. But that Greco is a gem!

Alright Dunsy just bit dizzy 🍻really enjoyed the vid, nothing wrong with any of the guitars but I heard the Gibson had more punch on all levels mate, brighter tone throughout, but as I said they all sound good, Vintage good for practise Greco and Gibson for a gig mate. Have a dandy day Dunsy 🤘

There's a personality to the VINTAGE sound that is lacking with the other two. A raspy, subtle throatiness that appeals to my ears.🍕

All three guitars sound very nice ,The Gibson has a more bolstered and slightly thicker sound ,the Vintage while sounding slightly thinner than the other two has an interesting tonality to it

Gibson got some bite Greco more gnarly and the Vintage sound kinda muffled but still sounds great ! Whats my fav ? All of them !

Thanks really interesting video. My only comment would be that your Vintage may not reflect current production V100s, which may be worse or better, or indeed the same.I mention this as I am thinking of getting a Vintage V100PDF.

Not a huge amount in it. The vintage is a little more fizzy sounding especially on the neck pickup but considering the price differences the sound differences are not huge❤

It’s all a bit of a lottery . I have two modern standards 50s and 60s and there isn’t a lot of difference .Two 50s inspired by Gibson epiphone and one sounds much brighter than the other , both supposedly the exact same guitars one gold top the other cherry . One was a b stock may have been a pick up swap I’m thinking because the difference se are markedly noticeable..

Man Dunsy I wanna know where you can get a Greco egf850 for 800-1200 dollars I'll give you 1000 dollars all day long for one shit for an EG59-85 too....

The whole point is .. if you start again from the vid chit chat !! ?? is the Greco pu's 4 times superior to the Vintage ? is the Gibson pu's 8 times better ? Are the Gibsons twice as good as the Grecos, this is the point ! And the answer is no, the Vintage brand all over is superb value for money .. or is the Vintage a fair price and the others exaggerated, especially the Gibson .. I have a vintage and 3 Les Paul's but never ever played let alone owned a Greco.. it's like Addidas, Wrangler, coca cola .. you pay a premium as those brands have proven over time and sales they are very successful.. small margins can cost large amounts.. Do a blind test on it Dunsy, and everyone who has a Verdict put their money on it, ?? £20 per comment/answer 😉
