The Cartier is literal perfection. All those watches made for the royal families from the Middle East are absolute quality. So nice to see. Also the Heat hat he is wearing is the best thing!

such a great interview. you can really feel his passion radiate. these videos that don't push an agenda on specific brands are getting so rare... I don't mind chrono24 trying to build trust for users of their platform (me included), I actually think they should be doing this, but please don't start pushing specific brands with the guise of education and entertainment. keep with finding these passionate collectors and experts for interviews!

Thanks for your feedback! Are there certain brands that we talk about too much on this channel? Any brands you think should be getting more attention?
@YongJoonPaek Жыл бұрын
@Chrono24 I think you guys offer a good variety. Especially with the focus being on the person and their collection rather than an attempt to hype a certain brand in their collection ("look at how many early Journes this sophisticated person has, you should get one too!") I really look forward to every one of these interviews for this reason.

I just missed out on buying that Boot Boyz hat he has. The watches are somewhat out of reach as well. This is a very interesting collection he has I love that 70's Cartier one.

Great interview. One thing I’d change is to put some bgm. Quiet ambiance music would elevate the emotions when watching interviews like this. At least do it for the transition scenes.

Yes the Tank Louis is the closest to the original and so on, but I would not dismiss its steel version. The Must has now the same size and shape as the Tank Louis. That is great for collectors who don’t want or can spend £12k 😊

Are those dots on the omega part of the design or is that just the ware and age of it? If not, I’m surprised you haven’t had that replaced or cleaned, but I love your collection
@Chrono24Official Жыл бұрын
"Tropical dials" like these mature over decades and decades. You can replace the dial anytime you like, but each tropical dial is unique, and you'll never be able to regain that original character after swapping out the dial. Many collectors also prefer to keep their watches as original as possible instead of having a mishmash of components from all different ages and eras.

Omega example is not a tropical dial, it is a ruined dial. There are watches with water damage like this that come through ebay auctions all the time.
