What a great looking watch. I have a barked president I bought in late 70s early 80s I can't remember the year but what a pain in the butt to reset it when I don't wear it.

Not an original crystal and no way rolex would swap the movement to a newer one.

Love the 1803s! I was actually curious when Marcelo mentioned that Rolex changed his movement, does he have the papers that mentioned this service was done? I can only imagine either from a 1555 to 1556 knowing the fact it still doesn’t have a quick set.

What makes you think it is aftermarket? If Rolex serviced it and changed the dial and hands, surely they would make sure the crystal is legit too?
