First off, I want to be very transparent with you and say the The L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight Serum was sent to me free of charge by the company L'Oréal Paris via Influenster in exchange for an honest review.
I am not being paid to talk about any products mentioned in this video. My thoughts are my own and I will always be you upfront with you if situation is otherwise stated above.
This product is definitely something you're going to want to stay hear about until the very end, as you will see how and why I will never recommend The L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight Serum and the damage it caused after only three applications.

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying this extremely hot Summer we've been having. I do not fare well when it is this hot. It makes me very sweaty and cranky, which is not good for me in anyway, shape or form. So Sorry I've been absent, due to personal reasons, I just needed to recharge my batteries, relax and take a few moments to myself for a while.
So having said that, today's video was filmed back in late March or early April of 2021 and I'm finally just getting around to editing and uploading it now. I was sort of unsure whether to upload today's video in the first place, but I finally decided to go ahead and give it a go because I think it is good information as to how a skin care product that "claims" to be for all skin types, suddenly and without warning, cause an allergic reaction. It was awful, to say the least. I believe I explained in the video that I didn't take pictures right away when the reaction first started. So apologies for that in advance But I did manage to show you a few snapshots in and explain everything that went wrong while using the Midnight Serum.
I won't ramble on to much longer, so I will end by saying thank you for being here and I truly appreciate it. 2 months later and i’m down to the last drops of serum and last dab of cream! My skin has felt moisturized and plump. At first I found the scent overwhelming, but at this point I barely notice it.

What a shame you had a reaction. I am 59 have been using it since came out and bought 3 bottles when on offer. I love it. Use it morning and evening under my moisturiser . I feel my skin is plumped and healthy looking. Used to use estee lauder serum so this has been a good cheaper alternative for me personally.

Sorry you had that experience, my face handles it well so far it’s only been 4 days. Lines gone, nice glow, and my face is so soft! I love it, but I use a retinol collagen cream as well at night. I use aloe before the midnight serum.

The same thing happened to me after 1 application. It's been 13 days. Nothing relievers the sting. What moisturizer did you use to help?

My skin has definitely gotten more sensitive as I have gotten older (60+), and I have never had a reaction to any Loreal product before. This is not normal. This was bad. I used it twice, and by the afternoon my skin was itching and painful and burning. It hurt for 3-4 days before the pain subsided and then it started to peel and flake. The only thing that helped take the sting out was witch hazel.

Happened to me too after the first use. Took me two weeks for the redness and pain to settle down. My husband was horrified. It felt hot and dry and swollen, like I had a sunburn.

Goodness. I just bought this stuff and was very excited to use it. I just put it on my face and then added their night moisturizer. I hope I don’t have this problem. Guess I’ll find out. I’m a redhead and I’m sensitive to stuff sometimes.

The problems started for me on the third application. So at first, it seemed ok. But after three applications, it literally felt like my face was on fire. I hope you have a way better experience than I did. I will say, applying a minimal amount of this serum is definitely more. Maybe start slow: two times a week until you know if your skin can tolerate it more frequently. Good Luck 🤞

I’ve been using the Serum for 2 weeks. I only use it once a night. It did seem red for a few days. Now I see a big difference in my face. It’s more even and bright. So I think I’ll continue.

This product has just given me a monumental acne crisis, as well as enlarged pores, with blackheads, a significant inflammatory reaction! 😩😭😭😭😭 Thank you for your honest review 🙏

@@theathea3064 I don't know at all, maybe an ingredient in the product list that my skin is intolerant of, all skins are different... I tolerate salycilic acid from Dermalogica or Paula's Choice very well for example.

i used last night and next day in afternoon face started itching profusely with large red welts and bumps 😢all over cheeks. Definitely contact dermatitis. Probably allergic to the HEAVY FRAGRANCE! my bad for even using sample! other fragranced products have never done this before.

Omg , this is currently happening to me after using this product for 3 days, I have an itchy rash on my upper chest and neck, taking an antihistamine and applying cortisone cream. I hope it calms down as I am going on vacation tomorrow.

Apparently you are allergic or sensitive to one or more serum ingredients. I have this serum and have not have this experience.

I'm on my 2nd week. My skin feels amazing I feel my blotchy skin has cleared a lot I suffer terribly with dry skin,especially around the nose area. My face is fully moisturized all day. I feel when applying my make-up it has a softer and smoother finish.I apply morning and evening,very little is required.I have finally found a product that is amazing and I've just ordered 2 more bottles, just wish there was a face wash too.

Wow, it took me almost 9-10 months to finally get over that horrible allergic reaction. It’s crazy how long it took to calm down . I’m forever cautious about what I put on my skin. Especially serums and scrubs. Thanks for watching. 💕

@@sourpatchkid394 No, the good ones are cetyl, stearyl and cetearyl alcohol. The one in the product is alcohol denat, and since it’s near the top of the ingredient list it makes me think there’s quite a bit in this serum. In large amounts dries out the skin 🤷🏻‍♀️😟

@@sayuriisme9728they’re there just to allow the ingredient to penetrate the skin better. Reason they added it is because the Ph of the product is higher which means it doesn’t irritate the skin but cause of that, the ingredients won’t be able to penetrate deep enough which is the reason for denature alcohol.

This stuff made me very dry and sensitive....there's a lotion by It Cosmetics that does the same thing to me. They both have that orange in them. So now I stay away from citrus as an ingredient.
