We randomized our starters in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet! We're both gonna choose our starters by only seeing their egg moves and then we're gonna battle! Who will win - Vintendo or KingCorphish?

Little tip, for whatever reason, egg moves are often only listed for mons that can hatch from eggs. So you could always check the first form if no egg moves are listed

As an add-on for these “egg move” videos they should have to use the the egg move in their Pokémon’s move set when they battle

If you guys are using Pokémon Database for looking at the egg moves, I think they haven't updated it for mons reintroduced in the DLC. But they should still have similar moves to the last game they were in. I forget which mon it was but I tested one that came back for the DLC and it still got the egg move I was looking for

I knew for a fact that Manibuzz got Toxic as an Egg Move and TM, so perhaps the Site Vinny was using didn't update for the Mons that just came back in the Teal Mask.

They look at the fully evolved pokemon and on gen 9 and it doesn't show the egg moves for the pre evos sometimes or the pokemon doesn't have egg moves in gen 9 which is why there were mistakes

The mirror herb is probably going to things a little more complicated because genderless pokemon like Magnemite can get explosion and electroweb as egg moves only due to the mirror herb and can't learn anything else. Same thing with Electrode, it technically doesn't have egg moves because it can only be bred with a ditto but can get recycle with the herb.

I know they gave espeed as a move reminder for Dragonite, but I know its an egg move because its the only way to get it on Dratini. I like this idea for the video, some egg moves are so random

Scarlet and violet, dragonite gets the move when evolving but it's listed as a level up move. But it is an egg move too. Super hard to get back in Gen 2, where it first showed up. It was a special event for dratini. Ingame event, just to be clear, not a real world event.

I used Prokédex (no longer available on Google Play, because I was taken down for litterally no reason) and here's what I got: 1:37 Dusclops can learn Haze, Momento and Pain Split via egg moves in SV 3:35 Mandibuzz can learn Mean Look, Roost and Toxic via egg moves in SV 13:47 Nuzleaf can learn Defog, Leech Seed, Night Slash, Quick Attack, Take Down and Worry Seed via egg moves in SV

I'm thankful for this awesome video on this special day in the US. The starter portion was hilarious because Ryan failed to identify the best mons in the first half, realizing having no egg moves doesn't only apply to legendaries. The second half of that segment changed things, and from that point I was really hooked all through the battle. GG's all around

Rock Smash isn't a Gen 1 HM. Gen1 HMs are: HM01: Cut, HM02: Fly, HM03: Surf, HM04 Strength and HM05 Flash. There wasn't even a waterfall HM in Gen 1. 😂

Pokemon DB is so strange. Dusklops has no egg moves but Dusnoir does. Electrode has egg moves, despite Voltorb coming out of the egg. Not sure what more you could have done tbh. Throwing engagement at the video though.
