This north exposure doesn't need any solar protection. But the residents do like to sit outside without the wind blowing them away. Using a Vinyl MotionScreen from Universal Screens, we were able to create a wind block while still allowing them their view to the outside. The solid border by Serge Ferrari is waterproof and dimensionally stable. And motorization is from Somfy for simple operation.
