Why only till you Get monetized? You make money outside of KZfaq already plus it’s basically free promotion and the videos you make while you work is basically you paying yourself to make the video no time wasted at all not to mention the people that you attract for your business and if your worried about people stealing your ideas or clients by learning from your videos well if you do what you do exceptionally well you have nothing to worry about

agreed. too much editing cuts. always makes me suspect there was some magic edit tricks to it all....if this was a continous 'speed' up repair work. sure. but..nope. cut to cut to cut and 'wow' fixed. suspicious!!

Yeahhh it seemed like he knew what he was doing but the editing cuts are in fact suspicious. *IF* it *is* real then this should serve as a lesson that he should start showing ending results without cuts to them

@@OscarOliu no no, when you see the original torn section it's about a half inch wide tear, when he puts the paste on with a spatula it's all flat and then he sands it, it's not possible to get the scale/leather pattern finish you see at the end when he's sanded it flat.

Literally know how to do this myself u can literally see the outline of the crack at the end. And that little white spec at the bottom right on the armrest is still there at the end. People just mad cause they to damn stupid to be able to fix stuff. Keep doing what your doing brother. Awesome work

​@@Husky7766many glues/ binders appear white when wet but are clear when dry. You get the same with wood glue or acrylic paint. That's why acrylic paint looks brighter when wet than dry, the binder turns clear

Yeah, you can't replicate the ribbed/bumpy look of leather doing what he did. Realistically it would have looked pretty good otherwise, but obviously fake.

Got a used car once from a reputable dealership. Paid a premium because it was clean and mint. It took less than 6 months for every flawless and undetectable vinyl plug and repair to show and fail. Felt like Wormwood Motors after that.

Yep. You could charge a $100 for that repair and find a replacement at the wreckers for $30 and take 5 min to swap it out. You can see the camera angle has changed RIGHT at the time of the switch.

Ты же видел, он по свежемы прикладывал материал с рельефом и придавливая. Перенёс рисунок, потом отвердитель и так далее. Чего тут невероятного? Другое дело, как долго жто будет работать.

That’s a good repair but he should’ve used a lighter color because now it doesn’t match the rest of the upholstery in his car. If you compare the before and after the color is off so his center consul is going to be a little bit darker than his seats. He should’ve done a lighter color. Don’t ever let anyone fool you by telling you that’s a good repair and don’t let anyone charge you for that kind of repair because it’s supposed to match that’s a good repair

Im pretty sure there isn't a very good way to repair vinyl. Your best bet is to replace it, by getting it reupholstered, a new seat from the junk yard as you said, or a seat cover from Walmart. Anything but whatever this is supposed to be.

That’s a good repair but he should’ve used a lighter color because now it doesn’t match the rest of the upholstery in his car. If you compare the before and after the color is off so his center consul is going to be a little bit darker than his seats. He should’ve done a lighter color. Don’t ever let anyone fool you by telling you that’s a good repair and don’t let anyone charge you for that kind of repair because it’s supposed to match that’s a good repair

To all those replying I just commented to say something positive about something that went from destroyed to repaired. i really dont care about the quality of the work or think the guy is some guru of vinyl repair… never see. it done and thought it was pretty cool. No need for more schooling on how it should be done, honestly could care less.

Not always easy to pull the part out and replace the vinyl. I had a repair like this done at a pretty reasonable price in the past

I once bought a truck because the seats were not ripped. I told the guy every truck I look at with this many miles has ripped seats. He was like yeah its a great truck. I later found a repair receipt for the seats in the glove box and the repair lasted about 6 months before it fell apart and looked like every other truck.

I'm a big believer that paint and spackle can fix anything and that's essentially what this is. I've painted roofs, countertops, you name it. I was trying to figure out how I was going to repair the vinyl add a card that I just got, since it's a Mercedes I have to be a bit cautious. Just need to know what the materials are and I can get to it.

Its not a new arm rest. You can see that he put a paper between the arm rest so the black spray paint wont get on everything. He really repaired it.

It is not an arm rest but in scene 13 to 14 the seat fixed is changed with a new never ripped.
