Vinyl Shake Siding Repair: Locking Vinyl Shake Siding Together Without Repair Clips.....The Hard Way

2 жыл бұрынWe had to remove a few courses of vinyl shake siding to install a new outdoor kitchen and counter tops.
I removed to the next full course up, the tops were installed and I have to sneak in the cut course.
It is 100% stupid and 100% doable without the repair clips.

This is the siding that I have and there are 1 million videos on using the siding removal tool on thinner vinyl siding. I see you putting this cedar impression siding back together, but it just seems too stubborn for me to remove in the first place.

I am pulling down and back the lip of the piece above and forcing it on to the tabs of the piece below. I have not been on that job in a while, so I can not send you any pictures or videos. Sorry.
