I always felt like Vio-Lence and Slayer occupied different spaces. "Upon Their Cross" plays a little too close to that line for me personally.

They're such a badass band. Perry's drumming is on point, those rolls are fast as fuck! Whole band sounds great.

That’s because this is a soundboard audio which is always drum heavy. It’s not the mix people heard live.

For real. At The Stone! The fact that the entire crown isn't a pit is beyond me. Seems like most of them came for black metal, etc. They weren't ready for true Bay Area thrash.

Seriously! I remember seeing them back on the day, and then when he fell ill, I was at the benefit show Kill on command, and he looked horrible. Surgery went down, then the 2 comeback shows in Oakland. I was completely shocked cause it was like he was just put on pause and back to his old ways. Dude is a fuckin Beast

Man whether ya were one of the thise that didnt het uaed ro S.K.'s vokills back in the day (i did, and it set them apart! Ya could HEAR the realness and thrash heart)... @@edmcbain71 Great choice I love Exodus and Testament they are one of my alltime favs, but dude this drummer on this night was oozing thrash like it's like my religion and I felt it super hard you know. This is solely based on the drumming, the guitars weren't super duper tight but not bad, it's just the drumming was captivating to me. Any live suggestions?
