2:41 I was at that race. We were sitting adjacent to the series of turns called the Snake on the other side of the bridge. We saw the bump but couldn't see the result. I didn't get to see what actually happened until I got home and looked at the race on my DVR. That cameraman was very lucky.

I was at that race at 2:41. We saw the bump and the cars go off track, but we didn't see the result until we got home and turned on the DVR.

I've got a couple hundred laps there and in my estimation it's one of the safest tracks around. There are large runoff areas at nearly every point on the track unlike some tracks where you're into a wall or Armco just off the track.

@@bigredracingdog466bro, from these clips. 90% of the damage could have been reduced if there was gravel in many of those corners.
