When I work in the garden, 2 Robins sit and wait for me to finish before the come and inspect, I can do whatever but they deep their distance of 2 meters. So I fill a driptray with some worms and put it 2 meters away for them and call them over, that's the best I can manage. So wish they would run over and pull them out from where I am working -.-
@astroflight65717 жыл бұрын
I raised a baby starling found in the middle of the road. He was caged for two days, then lived on an exersize machine, hand fed initially, got his flight practice inside, his foraging practise outside, exactly the same as this video. Bonding with him did him no harm, he left and joined the wild flock when he was ready.

"As you all know when an incident such as this occurs many birdiphobic worms come out of the worm wood and use this tragedy as an excuse to push their speciesist agenda. As worms we must learn to get use to these events. We need to learn that this is just a part of life. Remember, if we let the actions of a small amount of radical birds change our way of life, they win. Treating birds like some kind of merciless killing machines only feeds the division and is in fact the reason for these attacks. Rather than spread hate we should join in solidarity with the birds who are often victims of indigestion." -Mayor of Dirtpile #PrayForDirtpile #NotAllBirds

I think the Robin has been with this man since it was a chick. Because when it is directed to a worm, the bird follows the man's finger, it understands being shown food. Here I think the lovely gentle man is teaching the bird how to forage for itself so eventually it will survive in the wild. I love people who a kind and gentle with animals of all kinds.
@Tokendog087 жыл бұрын
Yeah, most likely. At 3:00 the man states, "Well maybe now we don't have to buy worms anymore, huh?" The bird probably fell out of its nest at a young age and the man found it, raised it, and is trying to teach it to forage on its own as you said.

One of the nicest things i've seen in a long time! When intentions are pure, caring, compassionate, the connection will form. I wish world peace, so that we can learn to co-exist and understand each other in honest levels, and to start treating life and nature as special as you are. Living, breathing in every space, planet with it's inhabitants, all conscious, all feeling, all knowing. Maybe all the good things from the highest sources come into thy presence, and fill you with it. Have a lovely day!
