@@entertainmentarena9407 Well, the strongest team of Sehwag's era was Australia and he made 1,031 runs at an average of 46.86 in 11 Tests that he played in Australia. One should remember that he was an opener which is the hardest thing to do in Tests. Still, he made 8,207 runs at an average of 50.04 in 99 Tests that he played as an opener in his career, which is awesome. In fact, in the entire Indian cricket history, only Gavaskar has been a better Test opener than him. Then again, Gawaskar is regarded as the world's greatest Test opener by many.

He was the Brendon Mcullum in TENDULKAR era. Absolutely terrific batter. Really amazing to see when he used to bat. Fearless batter, Relaxing Batter. ❤❤❤

I think it’s safe to say Sehwag is a name himself. He was better than Mcullum. Sehwag is the greatest modern day test opener. Unfair to compare him with McCallum

I enjoyed Viru era. Initially he came as a spinner and with little bit of batting skills (same like Australian player Steve Smith), later emerged as one of the top batter. Sad he could not continue in tests, could it not make 10,000 runs in tests, possibly due to his differences with Dhoni. But what a batsman he was, treat to eyes watching him. I was fortunate to meet him at his home in Najafgarh around 2008. If I remember correctly at that time he was dropped and our team was playing in Hong Kong some tri series. He would be discussed as long as Indian cricket is alive. Long live Sehwag. ❤

Sehwag, - a true match winner and humble human being, what an asset! His fearless and effective batting set new heights and defined the future of Indian cricket; never to be forgotten. And Sanjay Manjrekar is a much better commentator and interviewer than he was as a batsman.

I cant forget the Test debut of Viru in SA 2001 when he scored that 100 , that test match all the commentators were busy with comparison of Viru and Sachin. His helmet, shots etc. Those days we used to wait for some batsman to score in overseas to help Sachin.

Sehwag lost all my respect when he acted in Bimal ads...and Kapil Dev and Sunil Gavaskar as well...they have contributed a lot for the country...they earned famed, money, respect....but don't they have some morale or social responsibility ??? What message are they giving to the younger generation ?? Why acted in Gutkhas ads(in the deceptive ads of Elachi ) ?? This is very wrong

First time I saw him bat on TV was in England where he made a hundred. I remember watching cricket while busy with other chores, and for good part I remained under the impression that it was Sachin playing all those shots.

The Sulltan of Sultans, you will always be remembered for your unmatching entertainment when you were at the crease. You played test matches like they were ODIs. I am still quite disappointed when you missed your 3rd triple hundred by handful of runs. In fact you would have hit the 300 if you had faced a couple of overs more on the same day you started to bat but the Indian innings started 30 minutes late as the opposition team's tail-enders continued batting in the 2nd day. Even some of the greatest players could not even get one triple hundred. You were unique. I wish you played few more test matches.

Being a huge fan of yours lekin is trh ki bat mt bolo.. Jis trh main aap ka fan hu.. Usi trh main Shoaib Akhtar bhi fan hu.. You were always being bowled by Shoaib Akhtar.. Highlights dekhi hain.. SalmanAli, highlights nahi, poore matches dekhe hai. 1-2 baar out Kiya hai Akhtar ne Sehwag ko. But 1 300 aur 1 264 maara hai Sehwag ne Pakistan mein jaake test matches mein. Akhtar ki hawa nikaal di thi. Akhtar abhi India ki taarif karta hai sab channels pe kyonki paisa chahiye us ko. Dil abhi bhi jalta hai India ki success dekh Kar. Sehwag sirf Sach hi bolta hai, kisi ko achcha lage ya bura. He is a very genuine person.
