Excellent vid bro 🎉 Your hurtling thru the embryonic part of the next ten years. ...Your getting better and brighter .....without losing Ya attractiveness... with every video fella.!🥳 But what I wanted to say was thanks for recindling memories of my achieving the dizzy heights as a footballer, playing for (John Doyle)...aka Custy's very first team back in the late 70s...( I can't believe it was forty odd years ago...😳 We had some food players including Dave Watson who went on to captain Everton. ...as well as Peter Farrel and Alan Woolfall who both had decent careers in the second division. We grew up together as a football team...going from ages eight or so...to adults, playing for 'Over The Bridge '....Athol St ways. We won the Echo Cup at Anfield ...must have been 1984 when I was twenty....it was more or less the same lads who played in Custy's first game. (I remember it being played where the Pitz are now on Kirkdale Rd, it was on a full size pitch and we was only ten or so.😅.....i dont recall the score but i scored with a blistering shot that almost broke the net....😂 I only mention it cos Ya mentioned that Your lad is currently playing for Custy's....and even though the guy has been dead years......he's still respected and it's a pleasant surprise to learn John's name is still relevant.🥳.....cos he was a good guy. A beautiful human being, who cared immensely for kids footballing potential....and dedicated his every moment to running God knows how many teams....under 7s...8s...9s...10s......and helped lots of lads who didn't have much in life a way of thriving. John Doyle...Custy.....is and will always be a legend.✌️ Thanks for a nice memory jolt Kev.❤

I thought with the introduction of the Premier League and the promise of the exorbitant amount of money it would bring in, some of the money would trickle down to the grassroots. It would appear not to be the case. Thanks for the video 👍

Personally what Liverpool need too do outside from Anfield is too build a training ground in London as their base for away games as this is because liverpools rivals majority are from the down south area and will probably play in the leagues and other competitions at least 10 times a year in the south of the country this was explored by Man City in 2018 and I believe Liverpool with a good commercial contract spend £20 million on a London base will give the players a competitive advantage also within that training ground you incorporate a hotel like facility so the players can train and sleep in the London base without having to stay at hotels in London when they are playing a PL game over there plus with a squad valuation of around £1 billion you can understand the security that is neeeded

I've done Leeds to Liverpool on a mountain bike, a bit of advice padded saddle and padded bike shorts and take your time its a tuff ride, good luck..

Hi Kev That bike ride is a killer mate Take a recce and do a fraction of the distance and see how you feel Your body is in bits , on the bike off the bike such uneven and bendy paths You really don’t get anywhere and 4 hours in your won’t have done much of that 130 miles Your body will be battered and crying out for a straight road to ride the bike on Take a recce mate you won’t regret it 130 miles on that canal on a pedal bike is tough Best of luck

I WANT them to expand The Kop and The Kenny, however, expanding The Kop has many issues to it. 1. F.S.G. agreed by contractual arrangement to expand Anfield to over 60 000 capacity, when it was bought from Hicks & Gillett. Once the A.R.E. is complete, they'll have done that.. so there's that. 2. F.S.G. have said that they will not expand Anfield any further. 3. To expand The Kop means increasing capacity. Anfield is already a bottle-neck for traffic So F.S.G. will have to enter into an agreement with Liverpool C.C. to improve access and egress to the area, with massive road-works, and probably opening that closed branch-line nearby for rail access. So expanding Anfield further may include a redesign of the whole area, and by that I do mean 'suburb'. Houses will have to be demolished to make way for the new road layout etc etc. 4. Supposing Walton Breck Road stays where it is, the pub opposite, and the shops, the church and the old people's home will have to be rebuilt in Anfield Square (subject to their agreement of course). That's because, the new design would have to bridge Walton Breck Road, and have piles sunk on the other side to support 'the Kenny' end of the new Kop. So, that's about the size of it, BUT.... Here's what I would do. If you look at the depth of The Main Stand, and the cleared ground behind it for 97 Avenue, up until that first row of houses. Skerries Rd, and probably the next 2 or two road would have to be demolished to expand The Kenny, so....... why not build The Kop and The Kenny as one stand? Then The Kenny would not need to be as tall and deep as The Main Stand, and there would be seating in that corner between The Kenny and The Kop cantilevered out over Walton Breck Road. The Kenny and The Kop need rebuilding from scratch, because I think that the rake of the stands are completely different, if they were to be joined, that rake (slope) would need to be the same. I think that they made a mistake with the A.R.E., because if it were me designing it, I would have designed it so that it could be linked to The Kenny, and The Kenny to The Kop, so that it's one continuous stand around 3 sides of the pitch. The design of The Main Stand, with it's massive supporting beams being grounded at each end of the stand, mean that it could never be joined up to The Kop or The A.R.E. Hope that answers your questions, I really want Liverpool F.C. to have a world class Stadium, but I don't think that they've thought it through. There are a number of problems with remaining at Anfield, specifically because of it's geographical position in a bottle neck, and being hemmed in by houses on 3 sides.

Went out walking into The Peak District last week, walked about 6K From Fox House, past Burbage Edge, over Stanage Edge, then down into Hathersage. I don't think the woman who I went walking with appreciated how difficult it was for me, but I slept well after that I can tell you. How's life treating you, Spectre?

@Kevcupo Doesn't Anfield square belong to the council not the club? Pretty sure the next thing the club are doing is altering the seating in the SKD to make more leg room, re doing the inside and then the concourse on the outside.

@@rosse6705altering the seating to make more legroom in the skd would mean less seats,it's like now if they was to knock it down and rebuild on the same footprint it would be massively reduced capacity in the skd because of todays building regs.

@shanks69 I know mate I've seen the plans I didn't mention it increasing the capacity haha. The club have already said when it's done the capacity will be slightly reduced. I think there only doing the lower tier.
