Hey Manko. I really love your work and my job in silicon valley tech marketing puts me in a decent position to judge. A few things: 1) the passion oozes out of your videos on animation. The problem is, super-niche animation discussion is a dead space for growth. What I think would serve you much better is taking your love for animation and combining it into a more mainstream-friendly package. You could become a talking head like Gigguk, but with an extra eye towards animation while you're doing it. I am very confident that if you did this, you would be able to support yourself entirely off of KZfaq within a single year, if that's what you want. Right now you're doing your own thing, which is great but doesn't pay the bills or grow the channel. Honestly the fact that you've grown so much even with your extremely narrow focus and sparse upload schedule is a testament to how much you could succeed with a more marketable focus. 2) You're incredibly good looking as well which vastly increases your marketability, and your blend of western and Indian vibe is super marketable as well. For now, I would focus on expanding the focus of your videos but keeping the passion. As you find your profitable niche, your subscribers will rise much faster and it would eventually, over the next 12-18 months, become your primary source of income. I completely honestly think you could do it in 6 months, but you'll have to put out some more broad-appeal stuff while keeping your passion, explore some areas of anime that you might enjoy, and go from there. I believe in you. It's insane how underrated you are, and how much you have to offer. You're just being completely held back by having such a narrow focus. Good luck.

Right now you are like a raw diamond, as Biske from Hunter x Hunter said. From myself I would like to add that you seem to be the type of person quite stubborn in your beliefs such as "I will do what I want and it doesn't matter if a large number of people like it or not" (sorry if that's not true). But I would advise you to combine your passion for more niche things with what the masses want to see, find a balance in that and then you will become very successful. For example, combine animation analysis with analyzing the episodes story wise. Or how the animators/directors emphasize the author's vision with their styles, or add their own vision to it. How the love of all the workers, from soundtrack composers and seiyuu to animators and directors together with the manga author gives birth to outstanding works (that's just my examples).
