Love this kind of no prep racing. Keeps a lot of the purpose built, ground up built, high dollar cars out of these street races.

Usually when pot is split, they usually race anyway, cali nate learning from BEATERBOMB and his interlever back bar & weight, would if been a on the startline winner imo, with there cars a tenth of second usually means maybe 1/4 second at Finnish line...

I feel like a lot of people gave up on wanting the cars to look good and just build purpose built tools (racecars). I could never mount a wing, wheelie bars, fake fiberglass front clip, or especially a bar hanging off the back for weights. I think once you cross that line of not caring if your car even looks like a car anymore its easy to add weight 5 ft off the back.

Word of advise to the starter. When using an led light that bright do not point it in the driver's faces period. Aim it downward. You are blinding the drivers if I am watching it happen on video blinding me. Just a suggestion from a street racer of 40 years.

Haven't made up my mind if the person at the finish line is brave or just stupid as shit for parking their car right on the edge of the road just so the lights can shine across. Only 90% of wrecks happen at the big end of the track and it's not a matter of if but when someone is gonna smash into your car, maybe you, and possibly hurt or kill someone that probably would have walked away from major injuries if there wasn't a car or truck parked on the edge of the road. If I showed up for this event I'd tell them to move the car or I'm not racing. It's not worth risking everything.
