Amazing Hall of Fame rail trail thru quaint historic small towns, farmland, over many trestle’s and along side river. Trail is 35 miles one way from Abingdon to White Station NC. We rode 34 miles round trip. We went from Abingdon thru Alvarado and into Damascus. Abingdon population is 8500 and Damascus is 800. Creeper trail was the railroads nickname due to the slow ass steam engine climbing steep grades in 1900. The engine and tender are on display at Abingdon trailhead. This is a 5 ⭐️ trail in my opinion
