I have the hercules inpulse 300 combined with the pioneer ddj 400 Thx mate, now i can use them with all 4 Decks and it works perfectly You are the best

good to know you can I've got a mixtrack 2 and was was thinking about getting something like the orbit as a controller to go with it I could't help but notice the framerate in your recording didn't look like it handled it too well

Will this work with a Numark Mixtrack Platinum and a Numark NS7? I want to do this because I feel more comfortable scratching and beat juggling on the NS7 and I like the mixing features on the Platinum for normal transitions and stuff.

This is awesome...but I'm wondering...Does it have to be the same brand of a controller or you can connect a denon and roland together to work on Virtual DJ? Second question...Does that mean I will need two subscriptions since it's two different brands?

Olumide Akinwumi If u have Pro, you can mix and match any controllers of any brand.

How to use two launchpads s , i connnected it one for deck 3 and deck 4 , it dint worked both the launchpads are playing at the same time, how can i use them independently ?

So you have V7s? The available VDJ mapping for V7s leaves a LOT to be desired. Did you write your own? I run mine through Itch.

Michael Angelo No . I use the default map. I did add one function, but I never use it.

To the best of my recallection, the available VDJ map pretty much negates the motorized platters. Do you actually use VDJ with your V7s to perform? Or do you use Serato, like myself? These units perform perfectly with Itch, although I have experienced problems with SDJ.

Michael Angelo Platters work fine, but if you are using both decks every once in a while it glitches and reads both time codes as one making the active player play at double speed. That sucks in the middle of a gig. But it happens randomly and I can never reproduce it. My solution is to turn the platters off when I'm not using them. It is a shortcoming. I used to use Itch when i first got them for anything performance based, school dances, bar, parties, etc. And then use VDJ for weddings, or anything where I was just playing music with no emphasis on beat matching, etc. I went to VDJ full time because the controls were slightly different between the softwares and a couple times I pressed a switch expecting it to do one thing and it did another. So I decide to pick one and VDJ won because I was doing more weddings and VDJ can do everything that Itch can do & more. The one & only thing I preferred about Itch over VDJ, was it was hard to tell where the software ended and the platters started. The platter interactions felt that tight with Itch.

I agree with your opinion overall. I had the same issue that you mentioned, plus some others. The only way I could get VDJ to function with them quasi-reliably, was just to turn the motors off. And what is the point of having V7s, if you don't use the motorized platters? Itch is tightly integrated, simple, and functions flawlessly. No buggy updates to worry about, etc... It is what it is... Just like real vinyl and turntables, except a lot more convenient. My only complaint regarding V7s is the dinky 7" platter. I wish they had made (or would make) a V12, or at least a V10... I'd be a happy camper. I bought the Stanton SCS.1Ds and loved them... but they stopped working after a couple of months. I called Stanton and they sent me two more, which didn't last any longer than the originals. So now I have four dead Stantons, but the V7s although smallish, still work as good as when they were new.

I tried my V7s with VDJ again last night. I thought maybe the default mapper might have been improved for ver. 2018... Lol, the left deck played at half speed unless I turned the motor off, and the right deck was just inoperative. I tried toggling the master/slave & deck 1/deck 2 switches to no avail. Tried changing every setting I could think of in VDJ sound setup, and I never could get it to work any better. Doesn't really matter, as I am happy using them with Itch... I just think it's odd that yours work but mine don't. All my other controllers couple with it satisfactorily.
