Virtual Everest is coming! Not sure I've trained enough, how bad can it be ...

Күн бұрынAfter having to reschedule my virtual 10,000m ascent high rouleur Everest in December it is now happening on Friday 13th January, eeeek! Weirdly excited, quietly terrified. Many motivations to do it so thought I'd made a video about it.

Great result Amy, My wife has her 5TH and last chemo cycle in two weeks, we know how tough the journey is and how much luck plays a big part along the way! A positive mindset also helps. Good luck with the everesting challenge......you got this!

Thank you for passing on the motivation. I have been feeling a little lack lustre in my cycling and filming lately also, but your video, especially where you confront the hard realities makes me think, "yeah come on, get of your ass and get moving!! Good luck with the Everesting!!!

Best of luck on Friday 13th im sure you don't need luck as i know your strength, dedication and determination will get you there. 175km on zwift, id happily do on the road or gravel but on zwift would finish me off. For some strange reason alot of bad things seem to happen around the holidays. When my dad passed away he bacame ill early in December and passed away one day after my birthday. It was a long time before I could ever celebrate my birthday again. Best of luck on that Everest!

It’s so tough when bad things happen at these times isn’t it. Bittersweet going through them for quite some time after. I think cancer has rules 4/7 of our last Christmases but life will go on, focus on the positives right. Thank you Dave, all luck gratefully appreciated 😊🙏🏼
