Many human diseases are caused by bacterial infection. Bacteriophages kill bacteria, therefore we study bacteriophages to find new ways of stopping infectious disease

prokaryotes don't get viruses ? all there rna is encloseed in a single chromosome loop as aposed to open ended telemers
