🤠 Thanks For Watching!
We are Tom and Stacie Langland, known for 10 years as RV Texas Y'all.
We are Native Texans and Full-Time RVers who are all about exploring the Great State of Texas and America one campground at a time. We're on a mission to experience life, not just live it and we're bringing you along for the fun.
In 2018, we sold our house, our business and gave away just about everything we own to hit the road and see America. Our home is a 33' motorhome named Freedom. We installed an extreme solar and lithium battery setup so now we can camp just about anywhere with our dog (Star) and our cat (Astro).
Every day is a new adventure, so join us as we RV America Y'all.
Safe Travels and Happy Camping!

Great video, guys! We visited Nashville in the Bicentennial year, 1976. We stayed with friends who showed us around. We toured the Ryman, the Parthenon, the Hermitage (Andrew Jackson's mansion), Vanderbilt University (my bff's alma mater), the Broadway music scene (much less touristy), and Opryland amusement park (long closed), We remember eating at a fabulous all-you-can-eat fried chicken restaurant that reminded us of the San Jacinto Inn. Not sure if that's still around... My bff's husband was a bartender at TGI Friday's. Let's just say we sampled MANY of his concoctions. It was July and as hot and humid as Houston. I would go back in the fall season. Nashville has certainly changed in 47 years. Thanks for showing us some new attractions as well as the staples we did not have time to see, like the Capitol. Happy travels! ❤🎸🎵

Great video! I have been to Nashville a few times, but never long enough to do any of the things that you were able to do. You talked about the intertwine of Tennessee and Texas history. My g-g-g-g-grandfather was friends with Sam Houston, and he served in the Tennessee legislature and was a district judge. He then moved to Texas, where he because Attorney General for the Republic of Texas. If you ever get to the Hermitage (Andrew Jackson's home), take a look at one of the little tables in his bedroom. I'm not sure if it is still there, but there was a tobacco pipe sitting on the table that was made by my g-g-g-g-grandfather from a piece of the Alamo. He considered the Alamo as sacred grounds and visited it often. He made the pipe for President Jackson, and the original letter that accompanied the gift is in the Library of Congress.

@@rvamericayall My g-g-g-g-grandfather's name was George Whitfield Terrell. My g-g-g-grandfather was Sam Houston Terrell...because Sam Houston asked George to name his son after him. 🙂

I know that everyone that comes to Tennessee wants to go to Nashville just from all the fame an glamour. But please don't think that my home state is just a reflection of Nashville cause it's not. There is over fifty waterfalls an state parks an we country folks very seldom even go to Nashville.
