Nice that you have the health and finances to do what you do. I thank you for your sharing. My dad was born in Palermo in 1903 and came to America with his family through Ellis Island in 1906. Beautiful location.

Take the time and visit the entire island. Palermo was nice but with the train and buses you can see some of the wonderful historic towns as well.

I've watched all your Sicily videos. I really like how you show the cities walking all over and not just the major points. . Which city would you say you preffered more in between Palermo and Catania?

Great video, apart from the horse and carriage tour, uk tourists are asked not to encourage this by animal charitys, which I would never do.

Non è vero. Sono stato a Palermo ad agosto ho prenotato un albergo vicino il centro,ho pagato quanto dovevo ,il servizio di pulizia camera era giornaliero. Ho pranzato e cenato nei locali di Palermo e ho pagato quello che era scritto nel menù. I prezzi sono esposti in ogni locale e nessuno paga più del dovuto. Quindi dire che è una trappola non è corretto. Sono stato all'estero e li si che sono stato costretto a pagare degli extra, che non erano sul menù quando avevo ordinato.

Città molto sporca , veramente desolante vedere una città ridotta male . Erano anni che nn andavo ma a settembre 2022 ci sono ritornato ..... peccato

Certamente non è pulitissima,ma non è neanche così sporca. Io ci sono stato ad agosto ho visto nel centro storico dei sacchetti di spazzatura,ma nel resto della citta non ci sono questi problemi. Poi nei quartieri difficili questo non lo so.
