Recently I went to Doha, Qatar with my family. As I know many people are facing a hard time in getting their family multiple visit visa extensions. Visiting Qatar is super easy and hassle-free because it grants visa-free entry to more than 80 nationalities. The Saudi side border is called Salwa and on the Qatari side, it's called Bu Samra or Abu Samra.
To visit Qatar from Saudi Arabia by road you need the below 2 requirements.
1. Discover Qatar hotel booking book from (www.discoverqatar.qa/)
2. Visitor Insurance which is 50 Qatari riyals per adult (Age 12+) book from (visitqatar.com/intl-en/practi...)
Hotel booking is a must for Pakistan, India, Ukraine, Thailand, and Iran nationals (I mistakenly mentioned Srilankans in the video)

Uqair say agay aap ja saaktay hain Road zaroor ban rahey but its not block almost all road done every one can go easily, I went from Uqair striaght to Salwa since July 2022 don't follow the road closed board follow straight road.

When u enter qatar can u get sim easily right after border crossing or better to go with roaming because roaming is very expensive

If you have Zain, you can buy the 3 days roaming for 180 riyals. If you have Stc, you can buy 3 days for 199, not sure about mobily and others. if you wanna buy local sim then its fine you can find it near the border.

@Tony Babu ji its confirmed by email from visitqatar website as well. I dont know if they are following that by road. Since many people are getting insurance by road even they are paying visa fees. By Air it is not needed. No insurance and no visa fees needed. They only ask for hotel booking. When you will leave tje country . That is it. Its from ksa to qatar.

Sir, I have 2 little kids with me. The hotel doesn't charge under 12 kids. I have only purchased me and my wife booking from discover qatar and travelling from kuwait to doha. I have hayya card also and hayya card doesnt ask for childen accomodation also. Do you think its not a problem at border?

Travellers holding Saudi visit Visa, you have to get Haya card or Visa to get entry to Qatar, the passport authorities at Saudi Border is not allowing to cross the Border, so please arrange the stuff before you travel. Car insurance you can buy once you enter in Doha for 145 SAR. If you are Pakistani, Indian, Iranian or Ukrainian you still need to book hotel for minimum of 2 nights in order to get visa on arrival.

Listen bro.i am also traveling with my husband and son. My husband is ikama holder and have driving license but we didn't have our own car so i my husband decided to take rent car with border pass if you travel kindly share ypur experience.

Yes two nights atleast, you cannot book for 1 night, the website won't show anything for 1 night.

It should not be a problem since the visa on arrival works with passport not with iqama. Any how the entry to a country is solely the discretion of the immigration desk.

Dear Bilal, i want to visit Qatar from Saudi Arabia (Abu samra) by road tomorow on 26 June 2023, i have iqamah BUT i dont want to visit as GCC resident because my iqamah is only valid for one month and they will not accept it and due to some reasons I can not renew my iqamah. PLease guide me if i can have another window to enter for eample entering qatar as Visa on arrival for Pakistani. Jazakallah khair

Your aqama should be valid, at least 3 months

your expiry is not written on iqama, plus if u have exit entry you arw okay to enter in Qatar. no one will ask you to show expiry date and border

@@aarikamaheshwari9165 at the immigration tell the officers that you want visa on arrival as per indian nationality not GCC resident. If you will present the iqama they will charge you 100 QAR per person otherwise its free.

@sapan Parekh He might have entered as GCC resident. If you enter as GCC resident then you have to pay 100 QAR per person.
