This civic air raid shelter is in a secret underground location in a south coast town. It’s in remarkable condition with no vandalism, however, the benches and toilets have been destroyed or removed.
It’s one of the largest surviving civic air raid shelters I have ever seen in the local area, and included two stairways. Both access points have now been blocked over and sealed.
