*China Securities Museum, located in Hongkou District, Shanghai, China.
China Securities Museum is the first securities museum in China. The museum was originally located in the Pujiang Hotel, formerly known as the Richard's Hotel, which was founded in 1846 and expanded in 1907 into a Victorian Baroque building in neoclassical style. The building is Shanghai's outstanding historical conservation building.
In 1990, Shanghai Stock Exchange was founded in Pujiang Hotel, the hotel witnessed the birth, development and growth of the new Chinese securities market, set of excellent historical buildings and modern securities trading venues in one, with extremely heavy historical heritage and cultural value.
The museum preserves the room where Einstein lived when he came to Shanghai.
The total Museum building area is 16,563 square metres, and the exhibition hall building area is 4,000 square metres.
