I drive to Hartlepool to see the sights of the Marina, the centre, Headland and even the seaside of Seaton Carew.

I know someone that lives in Hartlepool, I love their accent, I wish I had one. Hello from Toronto, Canada.

If you want to borrow my accent you can do. From a true monkey hanger born and bred on the Headland since 1955. A true Cod head as some people call us.

Did you go down to the Headland and enjoy the sea views as you walked along the promenade or the beach. It`s an ideal place to photograph the sun rises and sun set`s.
@funghazi13 күн бұрын
@Billyg215 I did! After going to the Royal Navy Museum in the morning, my brother and I went down to Seaton Carew, got fish and chips from Almighty Cod and had a great time exploring the town and looking out at the sea. It was a beautiful warm day, pretty much perfect.

every town in the country has good and bad parts so well done on focusing on the good parts . those moaning about the town , nothing is stopping you moving away as far as i see there are no fences holding you in . we are a short drive from the moors , a stones throw from a number of beaches . i couldn't think of anything worse than living in a city nowhere near either of them .

I did move. Greatest decision of my life. Hartlepool is a rancid, violent, drug filled shit pit.

Same here Jackie a true monkey hanger from the headland Born bred at the headland in 1955. Where we still had the old gas street lights. Every one going for sea coal when word got around that the beach had plenty of it just ready to collect it.

Also, Hartlepool elected a monkey as mayor of the town (twice) He ran on a ticket of free bananas for all. This isn't a joke Google it. He was very popular and successful, and did indeed provide free daily fruit for school children. The museum and quayside is well worth the entrance fee. I kept a boat in the marina for many years and was a member of the Hartlepool Small Crafts Club (briliant club and the steward "Les" was a top bloke)
