I ❤ the Wizard of Oz. My favorite part is when Dorothy meets the Scarecrow. "How can you talk if you don't have a brain?" Scarecrow replies, "There are lots of people who talk without using their brain."😊

Just watched this video... brought back so many memories. I grew up in Liberal. I visited the Wizard of Oz museum so many times. My brother was at one time the mayor of liberal. The rainbow bridge across the road was a regular crossing for me and my brothers growing up. Liberal also has a aircraft museum as well. Great exhibits. My brother is the main DJ at the local radio station. The Legend. Great memories thanks for showing this.

There is so much packed into this video! I came for the Dalton's hideout but was mesmerized and enthralled by the Wizard of Oz attraction and museum. It was so involved and detailed, and it just kept going! And I enjoyed your Scarecrow tour guide. I couldn't help but think that here's a man who has seen the movie way too many times!🤭 I can't believe that that's the REAL Dalton house and tunnel. Too cool! I'm so glad it still exists and people are doing the right thing by it. Those were some pretty resourceful Daltons!! You pick some great spots, Jordan. And your vlogs make people want to see and experience these things for themselves. You're the best PR and advertising that these places could ever have. Great work Jordan!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jordan, those giant arrows are everywhere in Northern West Texas and the Panhandle. They are indicative of Quanah Parker, the Comanche and the Plains Indians trails. We have them here in Lubbock. My Uncle used to work at the 6666 and Pitchfork Ranches and while riding fence and checking cattle would come across Quanah Parkers camp and drink moonshine with him and sleep in his teepee. I’m 67 now and that Uncle was much older than my Dad. He had fond memories of Quanah Parker.

GRANITE MAN I took my heavy equipment course (6 wks) there We used to bus it to Finch and practice digging every week day! There was a close town named Iroquois that had to move about 8 miles further away because of the St Lawrence Seaway project back in the mid 1950's! I had to use the Royal Bank n it was located there! So Morrisburg is still kinna boring with not much going on? Lol

For those of you who a re of the younger generation the gas stations that Jordan showed you at the beginning of the video, those were back in the days where the gas station was called a “service station” the reason for that is because the service station did everything. If you had engine problems you took it to the service station it wasn’t just for gas and munchies in fact food was rarely sold at a Service station. It was in oily grimy dirty place where you took your car to have the engine worked on, Not to get a bag of Doritos and a Coke. if there was a Coke machine you were lucky.
@swansfan6944
@swansfan6944 Жыл бұрын
Hi Greg, I’m from Australia but yes it was the same here. They also called it a service station because the attendant use to serve you. Remember when they filled your tank up for you ? Nobody uses the term service station here anymore either but in Oz we call gas, petrol ⛽️ so everyone says petrol station. Nice memory, thanks Greg. From Jodie Australia 🇦🇺

@@swansfan6944 Hi Jodie, The kids today would probably find our world so inconvenient when we were younger, but those of us who lived in those days have learned just how beautiful and valuable and cherished those days really were. Hiya Jordan - Your story about the Dorothy character reminded me of something... I performed music professionally for 40 years... I always ran into some other performer who was new or incredibly nervous... And the way I'd get them to relax, is to kind of get them away from the group, put my hand on their shoulder and almost whisper "jeez... You're really stinkin' it up out there"... With the right "mug" after saying it dramatically, it usually got a huge laugh and the performer would release that tension... And usually go on to a really great performance. Unfortunately, it seems like too many people are too damn sensitive these days... So I'd be afraid of joking around and doing something like that now. Oh... How different things were, only five or ten short years ago. THIS particular tour is damn near "Performance Art"...😁 Cheers! PS... Jah sez "I likes da cheezberger"..
