These were great vlogs. I used to live in Kingwood, but I moved to Australia before Harvey. This was a first time I really got to see what it was like to be there. Surreal and sad. I hope life is treating you well these days. 👍

There are still people here that are homeless from sandy so many years after it. I was far enough away from the water that i didn't see any but it was still scary. I'm happy you are ok. its so sad that there are people that lost everything.

You rock Kai, that’s my nephews name. Harvey was aweful.. my uncle lost everything, wye we’re lucky on the Westside right by barkers resoivoir highway 6 Addicks dam.. almost got us. Stay safe, stay strong.. subscribed 👍

Hope you are doing well now that it has been 1 year since Harvey flooded your home! I am from Rocky Point, NC and we just went through Florence 3 weeks ago. We lost our childhood home to flooding. People are still displaced and living in shelters here. I hope you and your family are doing better.

My house flooded too. Hard to believe it's been almost 2 years. I had to be evacuated by boat also. Have been living upstairs in my house since the flood 😔

My National Guard unit went down there. Some places were worse than others, but I'm glad you didn't lose everything. Keep your head up

Damn dude I was also affected by hurricane Harvey. 4 inches of water got in my house and I thought damn this sucks but after watching this it makes me realize how lucky I am.

I live in a village. I'm lucky to live in my house, because I live in on a hill. My village got flooded, and I didn't know about it until I saw it on the TV. My friends got flooded, and had to move out to somewhere else. I'm lucky to live where I am. I wasn't affected at all, I'm thankful and grateful for that.

I live in New York City and if this happens million will lose there home with no where to go. There will be not enough supplies to help us which is why I help other who goes through these things. Sucks that people needs to goes through this.

Many neighborhoods are still recovering. This one in particular has a lot of construction still going on now. I have a colleague who lives there that just moved back in her home last weekend. Many people are selling their homes gutted at low prices to investors for example. It's slow going, but many neighborhoods in our town are recovering. Most folks did not have flood insurance...it flooded in areas that never flood.

This is what Houston is all about or at least we showed the world. God bless the Cajun Navy too as well as the National Guard that checked up on us where you were in Katy and where I am in Pearland. Hope all is well and yes live your life to the fullest. Its crazy to think 11 years here went by so fast. Bush was still our president while I was just starting college at UH.

We stayed for a several hours in the evacuation site. It flooded the next day! Overall 6 places we stayed at because of the hurricane. People don't realize the sheer volume of homes that flooded. There are not enough hotels either...
